Pro-Form-E (Program-Form-Evangelism)

Nowadays it's easy to enter a congregation at any time during the week and ask: "Where is the pastor?" and everyone would answer "he is in his office" or "He went somewhere".

It is very rare to see a person entering a church and asking for another ministry like : "Where is the apostle?" or "where is the evangelist?"

Unfortunately today we live a time where the ministry of the Evangelist is not known as well as the Pastor ministry. Yet, I see that the Bible states that "HE (Jesus) himself has established some as Apostle, some as Prophets , some as Evangelists, some as Pastors some as Teachers, (Ephesians) 4:11. In my mind there is the picture of a pastor that only pastures once a year or every 6 months. That never happened! so the same for a Bible teacher, he starts the semester, and then leaves and goes in vacation. NO! that's not happening anywhere. But churches, many times lack of evangelism or the Office of the Evangelist. Our desire is to form groups that will always evangelize.

For this reason I am working on a project which I call "Pro-Form-E" (which pretty much is an abbreviated way of:  Program for the Formation of Evangelist groups in the churches). It's a way to be a service to the local churches, and most of all to the Lord.

We know that Jesus and the apostles did not only preach the Gospel in the synagogues or in the homes. Mostly they ministered in the streets. They went to seek the lost...

Unfortunately, most of our churches today do not really go in the streets. More often they organize indoor meetings, and sometimes new people show up because "invited" by a fellow Christian as a form of "evangelism". Well, Italy has today 0.8% of born again Christians of all denominations.

The Project that I am developing will provide the training of evangelists, or evangelist groups within the churches.

So that whenever SSMinistry has finished its training program and is gone, the local church is left with a team of evangelism that will exercise that gift every month, forever.

We have already contacted some church leaders whom showed great interest in the project. Please pray that this ministry will make a major difference in the local churches.
